Thanks for checking out my blog. Here's where you'll find all sorts of awesome stuff I'm doing, like videos, short films, projects, YouTube stuff, and other cool junk. I'll also be talking about media news, marketing things (because I totally know what I'm talking about when it comes to that... not...), and really anything entertainment.
Let me talk a little about myself now. My name is Matt Walker, and I'm an eighteen-year-old guy that likes moving pictures and entertainment.
I'm from the suburbs of Atlanta, Georgia, but despite what you might think, I don't really have a southern accent... y'all. I'm also a Christian - unapologetically. Some people have decided that offends them and it makes them not want to ever watch a video I ever make ever. That's cool. Doesn't make a whole lot of sense, but you feel free to do what you want. I never use my YouTube channel as a pulpit, because I know the people that subscribe to me aren't looking for me to preach.
My style, though, is clean and supports basic values that anyone should be able to appreciate. While I'm screwing around on camera, trying to entertain you, I hope you'll notice I'm doing all this and being basically clean while doing so. That's important to me and Major Motion Studios - to provide quality, clean entertainment for people of all ages.
I like to write, too. I write stories and screenplays all the time. Granted, I never end up letting anyone read them, but hey - it's fun. I love music, too, though I don't know a thing about it. Seriously, I can play piano with my right hand, and I know how to play one two-chord song on the guitar. 'Horse with No Name.' Yeah, I'm thinking about releasing a CD. 75 minutes of nothing but that song. Freakin' awesome.
On Sundays, I work as a video switcher for my church, The Church at the Ridge. Never before have I been a part of such an awesome group of people. People with such passion and such love for others and God make getting up at 5:45 on Sunday morning so worth it.
Oh, and I also have a dog, named Bernie. I often talk to him in a very high-pitched voice.
